Microsoft Songsmith – Please Make the Bad Noise Stop

Any questions?

Yes, everyone might have a song in their heart, but let’s avoid using Songsmith to extract it. Some things are better left unsung.

  • Oh, the video has gone...
  • Music created by computer is not by definition bad - the computer is a tool, and what we need are better algorithmic composition tools to use its power. As a comment on the 'piano inside my head' title, by the way, I find the piano is more 'inside my fingers' - I often find my fingers moving to create imaginary pieces that are ever-present, subliminally.
  • I... I'm at loss for words... it was. an experience.
    Thanks for sharing....
  • And people blame me for the Classic Hits by Microsoft Songsmith, conveniently ignoring that it's all created by the computer.
