I wish that I could help you out. Apparently, everyone's invitations have been turned off for GrandCentral.

There is a post in the Google Groups about it <a href="http://groups.google.com/group/grandcentral-help-problemsolving/browse_thread/thread/5d9322f3f8835b6b/18b482809cc77d15#18b482809cc77d15" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

You may just want to go to the homepage of GrandCentral and reserve a number.

You may want to try a SkypeIn number, this way your friends can still make a local call and I believe that you can have it forward to your phone or to voicemail.

My only phone number is a mobile phone number, and apparently whoever had my number before me had very bad credit and a habit of giving the number to everyone and everything. Although I remind unwanted callers that I'm on the national "Do Not Call" registry, they insist that if a number has done business with them in the past, they're entitled to call it. When I read the descriptions of the screening and blocking features available through GrandCentral, I got very excited until I found out that I have to have an invitation from a current user. Can you please help me out?
